These General Terms of Service (TOS) define the terms and conditions for accessing and using the Timescanner service, published by the company ABVENTURE.

Use of the service implies full acceptance of these TOS.

Service Description

Timescanner is a solution allowing freelancers and professionals billing by the hour to calculate their work time and generate invoices based on events recorded in their synchronized calendars.

The application extracts events following a specific format and offers automated calculation of billable hours.

Service Access

The Timescanner service is accessible via a paid subscription, with a free 30-day trial period.

To use Timescanner, the user must:

  • Create an account by providing valid information,
  • Accept these TOS,
  • Synchronize at least one calendar.

The user is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided and the security of their login credentials.

Pricing (Excluding VAT)

The prices indicated below are expressed in euros excluding VAT. Applicable VAT will be added during invoicing.

Monthly Subscription

With a 1-month commitment, automatically renewed, the pricing is degressive based on the number of synchronized calendars:

  • €4.90 excl. VAT per month, per calendar from 1 calendar
  • €4.40 excl. VAT per month, per calendar from 3 calendars
  • €3.90 excl. VAT per month, per calendar from 10 calendars
  • €3.40 excl. VAT per month, per calendar from 30 calendars

Annual Subscription

With a 12-month commitment, billed once a year, the pricing is also degressive:

  • €49 excl. VAT per year, per calendar from 1 calendar
  • €44 excl. VAT per year, per calendar from 3 calendars
  • €39 excl. VAT per year, per calendar from 10 calendars
  • €34 excl. VAT per year, per calendar from 30 calendars

Examples

If a user synchronizes 5 calendars, their subscription will be calculated as follows:

  • {"Monthly"=>"5 x €4.40 = €22 excl. VAT per month"}
  • {"Annual"=>"5 x €44 = €220 excl. VAT per year"}

Trial Period and Termination

All subscriptions include a free 30-day trial period.

During this period, the user can cancel their subscription free of charge.

After the trial period, the subscription is billed according to the chosen plan.

The user can terminate their subscription at any time, but it will remain active until the end of the current commitment period (month or year depending on the chosen plan). No partial refunds will be issued.

Responsibilities

Publisher's Responsibility

ABVENTURE undertakes to implement all necessary means to ensure the availability and proper functioning of Timescanner. However, ABVENTURE cannot be held responsible for temporary service interruptions or potential data loss.

User's Responsibility

The user agrees to:

  • Use the service in compliance with applicable laws and regulations,
  • Not attempt to bypass the security measures in place,
  • Ensure the confidentiality of their login credentials.

Personal Data Protection

The Timescanner service processes certain personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and French regulations.

The information collected is necessary for the operation of the service (calendar synchronization, billing, support).

The user has the right to access, rectify, and delete their data by contacting ABVENTURE at the following address: contact@timescanner.io.

Modification of the TOS

ABVENTURE reserves the right to modify these TOS at any time. Users will be informed of updates, and continued use of the service after a modification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Applicable Law and Competent Jurisdiction

These TOS are governed by French law.

In the event of a dispute, and failing amicable resolution, the competent courts will be those within the jurisdiction of the registered office of ABVENTURE. # Note: Consider adapting the jurisdiction clause for international users.
